MOCKINGBIRD EATING SERVICEBERRIES

This is the first year we've had berries on our serviceberries, and the mockingbirds have loved them.  They don't even wait for them to get ripe.  They were very protective of the trees when other mockingbirds came around.  I tried one of the berries myself...it was sort of like a mild plum.  This video has clips of the birds enjoying the fruit.
