BUTTERFLY'S WINGS EXPANDING TIME LAPSE

There are 2 videos of this.  This is the shorter, more sped up version.  You'll see a black swallowtail butterfly emerge from its chrysalis and expand its wings in fast motion.  After a butterfly has emerged from its chrysalis it needs to hang upside down to let fluid into its wings.  In regular speed this is harder to see because it takes so long.  This shows you what's really happening.  The other version shows the butterfly emerge in regular speed, and the wings expanding isn't quite as sped up.

To view these movies you'll need QuickTime 7.  If you don't have it already, you can download it here -- Free!
