This is part 3 of 3 videos of this Monarch caterpillar pupating.  Once the old skin is out of its way (part 2), the chrysalis starts to contort itself into its final shape.  Then it will start hardening -- it's still very soft at this point.  What you see here went on for 10 minutes in real time, and even after this there were more subtle changes happening for quite a while.
