This Black Swallowtail butterfly ecloses, or comes out of its chrysalis, then moves to the edge of the pot to let its wings expand.  It's host plant is anything in the carrot family - rue, fennel, dill, parsley, even the invasive weed Queen Anne's Lace.  The first two shots are time lapsed because they took several minutes in real time.  Switch the quality setting from 360p to 1080p for best quality.
