HUMMINGBIRDS AND MALVAVISCUS

I have a lot more hummingbird activity for their southward migration in late summer and early fall than I do for their northward migration in the spring. At this time of year, my Malvaviscus bush is definitely their plant of choice. It's a North American native, and the variety I have is about six feet wide and tall. These are Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds.  In one of the clips, you can see that a male juvenile is just starting to get his Ruby-throat feathers. For highest quality, switch the 360p to 1080p.
